The Review

Long Term Review (3 Years Plus) SUV-Coupes BMW X6 X6 (E71 facelift 2012) 50i (407 Hp) xDrive Steptronic

This was a great car, fast with really good sound from the v8

Summary

I had this car for around 5 years. A white X6 50M sport, which was a 4.4 litre bi-turbo with loads of power and loads of fun.

Practicality and Comfort

High driving position, but with the comfort of any other luxury car. This was a 5 seater as I paid for extra seats. Good boot space all around. Leg and head room was good. Quite a big car for London driving, but no issues parking. Cameras all around the car. Electric everything. Heated steering wheel was amazing.

Performance and Handling

V8 engine was great. 4.4 bi-turbo was sharp and responsive. Very nice rumble from the V8 engine.

Reliability and Running Costs

As always, I had the service pack, so no issues with costs. Petrol was pretty expensive as it was a V8, so you should only buy if that is not a problem. Tires are run flats was a bit of a problem sourcing them from what I hear. Never needed to change them though in the years I had the car.

Features

BMW individual sound system was amazing. Subs built under each seat. 360 camera. Fully loaded with all the toys that you could expect.

Would I recommend it? YES

Definitely recommend this car, especially the new one out. This was my second one, and I only because I switched to I8s that I didn't buy another.
