The Review

Mid-Term Review (1-3 years) Hatchbacks Ford Fiesta Fiesta VII (Mk7, facelift 2013) 1.0 EcoBoost (125 Hp)

Cheap to run, insure and MODIFY!

Summary

I owned this car for nearly 3 years and had the same in blue for 6 months before that one. Unfortunately I was in an accident and the blue one was written of and it lived up to its 5 star safety rating! I was lucky to walk out alive nevermind generally un scathed!

It's the ideal first car. Zero road tax, great on fuel, cheap to insure but loads of fun and pretty nippy for the money!!

If you're into modifying your cars the Ford scene is one of the biggest! New and used parts flood the marketplace making it super easy to make you own Mark on your car.

The handling in these wee cars is something else! It's lack of power against some bigger cars is made up in the corners with its nimble and tight steering.

I wouldn't hesitate to own another. In fact I'm almost positive I will!

Practicality and Comfort

Boot space is great! I used this car to move house several times and managed to fit plenty! Comfort of the seats is down to preference. In my opinion they are on the firm side and long journeys can get uncomfortable. Not enough to stop me though! Even with a bad back!

Performance and Handling

For a 1.0L it'll surprise you! Get those gear changes just right and it's a nippy we thing! More than enough for the majority of people and a great entry level car.

Reliability and Running Costs

FREE ROAD TAX!! Need I say more!

Looks and Style

Smart looking cars. With the zetec s having the addition of the ST body kit it really adds that extra something. When modified mine was a head Turner.

Features

My car had Bluetooth, which could be temperamental at times, but 99% of the Time I had no issues. Things like cruise control, sat nav, the upgraded Sony radio are easily retrofitted.

Would I recommend it? YES
